Service Times
SCA meets every Sunday and Wednesday at 2201 University Drive in State College.
What can I expect?
How long is a service?
In total, a SCA service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come up to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
What is the culture like?
Services at SCA are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at SCA Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our SCA Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the SCA Kids experience. SCA Kids is offered at every service for kids ages infant through Grade 5. If you have students in Grades 6-12, SCA Youth meets on Wednesdays from 6-8pm.

"My first time attending SCA was an amazing experience for my family and I. We came for a one-time visit since we live an hour away. From the moment that we walked into the sanctuary we could feel such a peaceful atmosphere. After hearing Pastor Steve's message, I knew that I had to bring my family back and try it one more time. Almost three years later, my wife and I are members of SCA, and we gladly drive an hour to the Sunday and Wednesday services each week."
